It was a typical Tuesday at the offices of "Gaffigan & Associates, Talent Management," a place where dreams were made, crushed, and occasionally misplaced.
Barnaby Gaffigan, a man whose thinning hair was a daily source of existential dread, was staring at his computer screen in sheer horror. Before him was an email from the casting director of a massive, top-secret spin-off: Better Call Saul: The High School Years.
"Barnaby," the email read, "we are ready to make an offer for the lead. We’ve secured a budget, a writer's room, and a location in New Mexico. Barnaby pinched the bridge of his nose. "Woody Harrelson," he whispered, "does not have the energy of Skyler White. Woody Harrelson has the energy of a golden retriever who just discovered the concept of caffeine."
